Atsion Cabins

Nine furnished cabins on Atsion Lake offer a more structured overnight stay with kitchens, bathrooms and screened porches. Seasonal reservation rules apply.

Goshen Pond

Primitive Wharton State Forest camping off Atsion Road. Most sites are walk-in, with potable water and pit toilets. A camping permit/reservation is required.

Travelers wanting a conventional hotel should expect to stay outside Shamong. Nearby lodging should be described by its actual municipality rather than relabeled as Shamong.
